Nigel has practised as a Solicitor in North Staffordshire for the past 31 years. Nigel's experience is in Divorce and Family issues and he is a specialist Personal Injury Lawyer, a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel. He has experience of road traffic accident claims, accidents at work, slips and trips and medical negligence claims. The largest award which Nigel has negotiated is for £1.5 million pounds for medical negligence. He has also had experience of child abuse and brain injury causing persistent vegetative state.

Nigel understands the impact which matrimonial issues and dealing with consequences of accidents can have on clients and their families. He believes in a sympathetic and practical approach in dealing with client’s affairs.

Helen Jackson - Partner

Helen’s speciality is private family law with particular emphasis on family breakdown including divorce, separation and children's issues.

A concern for the damaging effects on families and children of court proceedings led Helen to train as one of the first Collaborative Lawyers in Staffordshire.

Historically, almost all of Helen’s new client business has resulted from personal recommendations. She is down to earth and approachable and her attitude to addressing Family issues is firm but constructive rather than confrontational. Helen believes that it is important to offer clients a personal individual service and to tailor the method of dispute resolution to their individual needs. As an experienced Collaborative Family Lawyer, Helen is the chair of Staffordshire Collaborative Lawyers and an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution sub-committee of the Local Family Justice Council.
